2009 UPSOT AND AN OPTIMISTIC OUTLOOK INTO NEXT YEAR

President WBA"To outsource the launch of a new global brand in the pageant industry has been highly successful", Mrs Tryny Yandar Lobón declared during WORLD BEAUTY ASSOCIATION's general meeting in Panama City's Hotel Bristol on 25 November 2009.
The aim of the project initiators to create an international beauty contest committed to worldwide welfare, political correctness, transparancy in decision making and certainty in distributing the earmarked prize monies came true. "This mission is a mission possible - we can not thank you enough, Gerhard", Mrs President added with applause. Mr Gerhard Parzutka von Lipiński, President of the Miss Poland and Miss Poland Teen contests, who attended the meeting in the afternoon as a guest, will also be host and organizer of the MISS SUPRANATIONAL pageants in the coming four years.
The aim to find 45 to 60 National Directors in the first round came true. Due to the tight time left, budget restrictions in some countries or long-lasting visa procedures some of them decided to join WBA not before 2010. After the marvelous TV Premiere Gala and also because of the special coverage on Global Beauties, WBA recognizes since 5 September 2009 an extraordinary demand from potential National Directors worldwide. During his analysis of strenghts and weaknesses Mr Marc Russell, WBA's Chief Operating Officer, concluded: "Whereas the broadcasted show and the media production in Poland met our expectations and proved to be state-of-the-art, the non-coverage of Africa can not satisfy."
A ray of hope is, so Mr Russell, that under the up-to-now 78 interested countries for 2010 nine will come from the African continent. The former TQM professional pointed out that also Oceania will be likely no white spot on the Association's globe anymore. With regard to the contestants' programme measures will be taken to improve the service level in certain areas of local organization steadily, he promised.
In her final acknowledgment Mrs Yandar counted her blessings for the National Directors of 2009 and their rapid action in delegating their candidates. Candidates of whom she heard that they formed a unique and wonderful class of 2009. "May their gained friendships and memories last for a lifetime", WBA's President closed.
