ONT, the Belarusian broadcasting company, surprised on 16 January on its televised press conference with the announcement that the 5th edition of the MISS SUPRANATIONAL Grand Slam Pageant will be hosted in the Eastern European country of Belarus.
"We are very proud that our Polish launch partner who already orginated another international pageant in Belarus in 2009 and the victory of Katsiaryna Buraya in 2012 gave reason to bring the first Grand Slam pageant to Belarus", a spokeperson of the World Beauty Association mentioned in the capital city: "We look forward to promoting Belarus to the world".
The new Miss Supranational 2013 will be elected in the Sport's Palace of Minsk on 6 September. Arrival date for entering the sight-seeing and rehearsal phase is 17/18 August. The contestants depart from Belarus on 7/8 September 2013.
The success story continues. The TV gala of MISS SUPRANATIONAL 2012 exceeded the dynamic and quality of last year's final. The stage was again overwhelming. Producer Nowa Scena proved once more to be able to improve year by year with new ideas and a fabulous choreography. The performance of the stunning candidates of MISS SUPRANATIONAL 2012 was simply breathtaking. Again and again thunderous applause rewarded the female stars on stage. Loud fans from Puerto Rico and Ecuador including its representatives of the embassy in Warsaw were heard.
The fever pitch was reached when Monika Lewczuk, the outgoing Miss Supranational titleholder, entered the stage of Hala MERA, a TV event and convention center in the Polish capital, to hand over her crown. Out of the 20 semifinalists the jury elected Sulay Castillo from Ecuador 4th runner-up, Elaine Kay Moll from the Philippines 3rd runner-up, Michaela Dihlova of the Czech Republic 2nd runner-up and Nanthawan Wannachutha from Thailand 1st runner-up.

Due to a TV request the host had to change the venue from Sopot to Warsaw and the date from 15 to 14 September 2012. Nevertheless, the sightseeing tour includes Sopot and the Bay of Gdansk on the way back to Warsaw. Arrival date for the contestants is 28 August 2012. They depart in the afternoon of 16 September 2012.

This is what made MISS SUPRANATIONAL a Grand Slam pageant: thanks to the selection skills of the license holders a very high level of beautiful contestants from all over the world, a host organization creating the currently leading production worldwide, a dynamic TV show and amazing stage which is simply the best at the moment and for the third time in a row a stunning winner.
For the third and perhaps last time the modern amphitheater of the Polish city of Plock was the venue of the Grand Finale's telecast. Close to 11:00 PM CET Miss Supranational 2010, the drop-dead gorgeous Ms Karina Pinilla from Panama, entered the romantic place submontane situated at the Vistula river under the old town's illuminated cathedral to crown her successor. Four happy ladies waiting on the state-of-the-art, large stage with its LED crown made it already to the TOP: Ludmila Yakimovich from Belarus became 1st runner-up, Valery Velez from Puerto Rico 2nd runner-up, Daniela Nguyenova from Vietnam 3rd runner-up and Krystelle Khoury from the USA 4th runner-up. And then the winner's announcement has been received with standing ovations:

The 23-years old student, model and singer from Poland drew in most of the jury's votes. The fair-haired beauty plays piano and loves dancing as well as traveling.
MISS SUPRANATIONAL 2011 was again not a typical beauty contest with its catwalking, selections or in advance prepared interview rounds. It was an highly entertaining performance and exciting presentation until the end: an ambitous, sophisticated choreography with 70 young stars showing the world that talent is in each of us if you are truly willing to tear down own borders to be supranational.

Oksana Moria from Ukraine, the first MISS SUPRANATIONAL, has a dignified successor - elected on 28 August 2010 in the modern amphitheater of the Polish city of Plock. The romantic venue submontane situated at the Vistula river under the old town's illuminated cathedral came up with an impressive stage in a crown style and again with a breath-taking, new colorful animation. Roundabout 25 National Directors and 75 family members of 66 international contestants were among the more than 3,000 guests of the in Poland and abroad televised gala when the results of MISS SUPRANATIONAL's second edition were announced.
KARINA PINILLA CORRO IS MISS SUPRANATIONAL 2010!
The majority of the jury of eleven people elected the 25-year old model from Central America who studies advertising and merchandizing at the Interamerican University in Panama-City as the world's most beautiful woman.
Last year's premiere of MISS SUPRANATIONAL already made dreams come true. But can you excel the best? Yes, we can!
This was again no simple beauty contest but high class TV entertainment with 66 new stars from around the world in addition to international musicians like Katerine, MistChill and Michaela de la Cour (ex Army of Lovers) as well as famous interpreters from this year's host country like Patricia Kazadi, Miss Project and France based Michal Kwiatkowski. An utmost challenging and sophisticated choreography of the in English language only presented show made not only the difference to other global premium pageants but helped the candidates to recognize their skills, to perform under stress, to thrive and prosper and to go beyond their potential. A lifetime experience!
At the gala's end the contestants gave a terrific finish. They performed together the song "We Are the World". Mrs Yandar Lobón, WORLD BEAUTY ASSOCIATION's President from Colombia, who attended this year's show in Poland and was already smitten with Miss Panama's success, added touched: "They are truly supranational".

Yes, 36 global beauties from all over the world to enchant the audience in Plock and at their TV sets in Poland and abroad. Charming announcers and a zero defect performance of the contestants perfected a memorable experience which enthused the guests and delighted the stakeholders of World Beauty Association as well.
Aside their dream of a successful launch of MISS SUPRANATIONAL, a secound came true. Miss Supranational Ukraine refused to believe it - the final verdict. Joy, overwhelming traits and disbelieve in Oksana Moria's face alternated. But no doubt.
The 20-years old architecture student from Dniepropietrovsk has been elected as Miss Supranational 2009. The part-time model presented herself in natural easiness and as a smooth dancer - and convinced the majority of the jury.
Her personal victory is awarded with USD 25,000 in cash. Jewelry of USD 8,000 in kind and lots of pleasant experiences still to make in her year. All the best to you, Oksana!
