Miss Supranational Makes Donation to Project in Indonesia

The President of the Miss Supranational Organization, Gerhard Parzutka von Lipinski, recently announced that the profit of the Miss Supranational Application will be used to support charitable causes. Miss Supranational 2019, Anntonia Porsild, and the Creative Director of the Miss Supranational Organization, Andre Sleigh, recently traveled to Indonesia to attend the Puteri Indonesia Competition and the first donation was made in our second runner-up’s hometown.

Anntonia and Andre visited the project Miss Supranational 2019 2nd runner-up, Jesica Fitriana, has been supporting for the past 3 years. The team traveled to Bogor in West Java to spend the morning at ADHA House. This purpose of the project is to create a safe space for children that have been infected with HIV/Aids by their parents. Free health check-ups and ARVs (antivirals) are provided here for the children. It is also a place where the children receive love, care and emotional support. The Miss Supranational Organization donated some essentials that the children needed worth US$1,000 during their visit. Jesica Fitriana was also awarded  with the first ever Miss Supranational Woman of Substance award for her dedication and commitment to this cause.

Miss Supranational Creative Director, Andre Sleigh, commented, “It was a very special day for us and definitely the highlight of our visit to Indonesia. We are so proud of the work Jesica has been doing and we hope to come here again in the future. I am handing over this award on behalf of our president and Jesica truly deserves it. Her passion and commitment is very evident and I am so inspired by the work she is doing.”

“We were very honored to make our first donation here because this is such a meaningful project. It was wonderful to spend this morning with the children and Jesica here at ADHA House. Jesica and the staff’s work comes from their hearts, so it was both emotional and beautiful to see what they are doing. The children really touched my heart and I did not want to leave when it was time to go. Thank you Jesica for bringing us here and sharing this day with us,” Anntonia said.
