NOWY SĄCZ TO HOST THE MISS SUPRANATIONAL FINAL

Gerhard Parzutka von Lipinski, President of the Miss Supranational Organization, announced today that the city of Nowy Sącz in the Małopolska region will host the final of the 12th Miss Supranational Competition.

With its rapid growth and hard-working population, Nowy Sącz offers investors, tourists and those looking for a place to settle down a unique, attractive location nestled in the valley of the Sądecki, Wyspowy and Niski Beskid Mountains. The area is surrounded by the picturesque Dunajec and Kamienica Rivers. The Miss Supranational 2021 Final Show will be broadcasted from the brand new Strzelecki Park Amphitheater that was officially opened on April 30th. The international finals will be the first televised events that will take place in this recently completed venue. Anntonia Porsild from Thailand will crown the 12th Miss Supranational at the conclusion of the competition.

It was established as a royal stronghold in 1292 by King Wenceslaus II of Bohemia, and was and remains to this day an important centre of trade. It has been the scene of important historic events, including the meeting of King Ladislaus Jagiello of Poland and Vytautas, Grand Duke of Lithuania, before the Battle of Grunwald, one of the key battles of the middle ages in Europe. It was here that the Polish King Casimir IV Jagiellon had his sons educated under the supervision of Jan Długosz and Filippo Buonaccorsi. It boasts a pearl of architecture – its splendid old town with churches, ruins of a royal castle, and buildings from the 19th and 20th centuries gathered round the second-largest town square in  Poland.
