It’s time to celebrate Puerto Rico! Miss Supranational, Valeria Vazquez, will travel to New York City next weekend to appear in the National Puerto Rican Day Parade. The event is the largest demonstration of cultural pride in the USA and approximately 2 million people watch the parade annually. As always, the procession will move along Fifth Avenue from 44th to 86th Street.
During her time in New York City, Valeria will be supported by the new Miss Supranational United States Organization. Speaking on behalf of the organization, Israel Silva said, “We are beyond excited to welcome Miss Supranational – Valeria Vazquez. Her visit to the USA could not have been possible without the support of the National Puerto Rican Parade and its committee members.”
“I am so proud of being Puerto Rican and I can’t wait to celebrate the culture of my island and it’s people next weekend at this magnificent event. Yo soy Boricua pa que tu lo sepas!!! It’s going to be amazing and one of those unforgettable experiences of my reign as Miss Supranational,” Valeria commented.
