The Miss Supranational Organization is delighted to announce that our reigning title holder, Valeria Vazquez from Puerto Rico, will be attending an array of glamorous events at MIPTV 2019 in Cannes, France from April 7 to 11th.
MipTV is one of the world’s foremost TV and digital content markets, where every year over 11,000 television content buyers, broadcasters, distributors and producers from more than 100 countries gather in the Palais des Festivals in Cannes.
Miss Supranational 2018, Valeria Vazquez, has been invited to walk the Pink Carpet on April 7th during the star-studded Opening Night celebration of MIPTV 2019 at Le festival international de Cannes des series 2019. Valeria has also been invited to present an award at this year’s International Kids Emmy Awards. The Emmy Awards recognizes excellence in the television industry and the International Kids Emmy Awards is the only ceremony related to this Academy that takes place outside the United States.
During her 5 day visit to Cannes, Valeria will be joining Alan Green from the Global Genesis Group, in a series of interviews and photo calls to promote the 11th edition of Miss Supranational and 4th edition of Mister Supranational.

Valeria Maria Vazquez Latorre from San Juan, Puerto Rico triumphed over 73 other contestants on December 7th, 2018 to become the 10th Miss Supranational in Krynica-Zdroj, Poland. The 25 year old medical technology student is also the first woman from the Caribbean to hold the prestigious title of Miss Supranational. She was honored by the government of Puerto Rico earlier this year for completing wins in all 5 major beauty events in the world. No other territory or country has achieved this before. An accomplished model, Vazquez has appeared on catwalks in Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and New York. She has also starred in several music videos and appeared in movies. During her reign, Vazquez aims to empower young women to be confident in their natural beauty in a world where the growing pressure of social media affects more and more young people every year.
